“Saving the Queen: The Story of Fernbridge" will be shown at The Old Steeple on Nov. 16. The hour-long documentary features historical reenactments of key moments in the bridge’s history, along with archival photos of its construction and clips from the 2011 centennial celebration. Showing for the first time in nearly 10 years, the feature film was funded in part by a grant from the California Council on Humanities. It was written and directed by Wendy Lestina and produced by Ferndale Museum and a number of Fernbridge loving supporters.
Everyone is invited to join the "cast and crew party" starting at 5:00 p.m. Tickets are $10.00.
